Drake used a voicemail from a woman before on his June 2011 song, “Marvin’s Room,” except this time Drake has ghosted the woman.

The woman uses a mix of Jamaican patois and Toronto slang. “Link” means to contact or get in touch with someone, “dash away” means to not care or respond, “cyattie” means a “rachet” female and “cheesed me” means to make someone mad.

Drake believes that he can only know who his real friends are during hard times. He touched on this before on February 2013’s, “Started From The Bottom”:

No new niggas, nigga, we don’t feel that
Fuck a fake friend, where your real friends at?

Here, Boi-1da samples Jodeci’s December 1993 smash hit, “My Heart Belongs To U.” Drake is a big fan of Jodeci. He even titled his June 2013 track, “Jodeci Freestyle” in their honor.

Drake’s mother is Jewish, and Drake has fully embraced his Jewish heritage, as made evident in the April 2012 music video for “HYFR,” where he was “re-bar mitzvah’d as a re-commitment to the Jewish religion.” Drake going out of his way to buy his girl’s father a present for Christmas, a holiday he doesn’t even celebrate, and go to church, shows how much he cares.

Before Drake was a superstar, he played Jimmy Brooks from 2001 to 2009 in the Canadian teen-drama series, Degrassi: The Next Generation. Drake spit a similar bar on his November 2011 track, “Look What You’ve Done”: Told you I think I’m done acting, I’m more in touch with the music.

This could be a shot at Kandice Henry, Drake’s ex-girlfriend who was rumored to have dated Ludacris before Drizzy. Luda confirmed this in a 2015 Breakfast Club interview.

Drake shared a similar sentiment on his November 2011 track, “Under Ground Kings”:

With fame on my mind, my girl on my nerves
I was pushing myself to get something that I deserve
That was back in the days, Acura days
